i have decided to become a vegan.

am i insane?

The thought did cross my mind, especially as someone on MN gave me a nice vegan nut roast recipe the other day for my vegan brother!

However it reinforced my belief that it's not worth paying for cheap meat. I would rather eat veggie meals than buy meat that I knew had been treated like those turkeys and pigs were in the prog.

Halfway through I did begin to wonder why I hadn't chosen to watch nice Rick Stein on BBC2 instead.
