Chopping apples

Is there a way to do this that won't make it go brown for DS lunch box?

I cut them into quarters, take out the pips bit and then wrap them back up in the apple shape IYSWIM tightly in cling film. Seems to work OKish for my DC's lunch boxes.

I buy the apple fruit bags - not the cheapest option but at least the apple isnt brown and manky looking

Acidulate the apples..... dip them in water with lemon juice. That stops them going brown so fast.
