Sorry, Electric, I didn't think anybody had read so I didn't bother updating!

I used 1lb cookers, 8oz sugar (5oz dark brown 3oz white because i was too lazy to go to the shop ), 125ml malt vinegar and a handful of mint. No peeling or coring, just slung the lot in. Had to send it through twice, then squish it all through a sieve, but I've now got 1 1/2 small jars of very sweet apple and mint stuff in the fridge...
