My dd is 2.2 and has never been a big drinker but now is drinking very little indeed. I think she is suffering with teething (which I appreciate willcontribute) however today she has had a total of 9oz of fluid (milk and water). Any ideas on how to get her to drink - she would normally drink her morning and evening milk quite well but is leaving some of her morning milk and is only having a couple of oz's of her evening milk.

Try her with watered fruit juices?

juice? (dilute it)

ice lollies (home made)

increase fruit and veg (much water in them)

jelly etc

she usually has juice but was only drinking the same as water so i figured water would be better - she doesn't like jelly!!! Will try and increase veg -worth a go.

Things like jelly, custard and soup all count as part of a daily fluid intake. Maybe a treat jelly and icecream may help those sore gums.
