Pastry mix tastes like dumplins

My grandma made a savoury pastry that tasted like dumplins. does anyone have any recipes for this?

You need a recipe for suet pastry like this one of Delia's . Can be used for sweet thing like jam roly poly too (also remembering my gran's yummy cooking )
