How long in an air tight container will they last?

They get eaten before they go stale in my house !!! I would say 4 days, maybe more

same her normally - but i want to make some for xmas day tea and boxing day - was thinking of making them the friday before (23rd) do you think they'd be ok.

I guess so. You could always have a trial run beforehand.

If they are frozen ones, its not a lot of work so tbh Id do them on the day and get the benefit of eating them fresh. (someone was bound to say that, werent they!)
