I want to make a sponge cake to fill a square (silicon) tin 9"x9"x3" deep.

Please could someone advise me on how much flour, eggs, sugar, butter I need, and also cooking heat and time. Would I cook it a normal hear but just for longer? I have a fan oven.

I havn't made a sponge cake for years. It's to be the basis of a fire engine cake, so maybe quite a dense sponge like madeira would be better than Vicky sponge?
