according to the Annabel K book they are not suitable for freezing

Curmudgeonlett · 08/12/2005 07:14

can't do it .. sorry

you can freeze whole bananas on sticks though

anorak · 08/12/2005 08:45

You can freeze them. Just not mashed. Either whole as Curmudgeonlett says and of course you can then dip them in melted choc as Aunty says. Or you can cut them in slices then freeze and put in the blender with peaches or strawberries or melon and make an iced smoothie. Yum.

Only thing is you have to use them within about a week. They deteriorate fast in the freezer.

Cut in half before mashing and put other half in athe fridge, is alright till the next day
