What age for...

Chicken drumsticks? I am vege so not really sure what the bone inside the drum is like and whether it is safe for ds to gnaw on one or not. He would love the concept of being able to hold onto it and eat it though so would like to try him with them. He is 14months.

I would just give him the meat
not the whole drumstick as he could choke on the bone

drumsticks have a quite sharp bone in them too which kind of goes alongside the thick bone and has a pointy end but as long as you watch him

DD gnaws on them since 17 months but I keep an eye because she chews the end a bit

but TBH I tend to cut it off into strips .. chicken holds itself quite well as finger food
