May I ask for some help please? When a recipe book calls for a stick of butter and half a cup of cream, how much do they really mean?

1 cup = 275ml so half a cup is 137.5ml. A stick of butter is 113g or about 4oz.

That's a liquid cup measure there. A cup of dry ingredients will be different weights depending on what it is. Google a conversion chart for a list.

Thank you Pashaelina
