Increase which ingredient to make cake gooey

Made a chocolate cake yesterday and it was lovely - but what would make it gooey? More butter, milk? egg?

if it was a sponge recipe then nothing will make it gooey

you need a proper recipe for a cake with a melting middle - if thats what you mean. Usually high in real chocolate

well i liked the way it was all crispy on the outside - so wouldn't want to reduce cooking time??
