Am planning to cook them for kids and dh tonight, as a non meat eater I don't really know what will make them more tasty (I vaguely remember them being bland)- so, any easy ideas?

I used to do them as a casserole with a tin of tomatoes, tin of tomato soup, onion and any other veg, serve with rice.

You could also grill them and once they are nearly done add a little HP sauce and some grated cheese, grill till cheese bubbles.

Mix a bit of honey and mustard (and garlic if you like) together and rub all over, leave for a few hours if you can but it's fine if you can't. Or fry them in butter with lots of sage. I love pork chops and they take marinading v well.

Personally we use pork steaks (more meat on them) and we cook them loads of different ways. One way is American style. Smothered pork chops. Cook until browned then add to a roasting tin. Make up a white sauce and add mushrooms, black pepper and a tiny pinch of garlic. Pour over chops and bake for about 20 mins or so or until sauce goes thick and slightly tanned looking. Other times we just season them while they're in a griddle pan (salt, pepper etc). Or you can mix up a marinade to spread on the top (always after they're cooked though). Check out marinades on the net. You might find some great ones.
Good luck x

we had really nice ones in Crete, they were marinated in olive oil, lemom juice, with oregnao and garlic. delicious! i don't really like pork but these were gorgeous, have tried them since we got home and they do still taste good, although taste 100x better when sat on a secluded beach eating them straight from the barbeuce served to you by a hunky greek!
