What can i do with meat balls?

Any ideas what i can do with meat bals bearing in mind it will be being fed to a child who REALLY does NOT like tomatoe sauce at all? (he does like pretty much ever other savoury food possible tho!)

Could i just cook them and put them on the side of the plate next to pasta and veg? Im wondering if they will be a bit dry, as i'd only think about having them with a tomatoey type sauce?

how about serving with gravy or a cheese sauce?

I did them last night with a cheesy risotto with lots of diced veg in for child who also doesn't like tomato sauce.
kids don't seem to have the hang up s we do. Mine would eat them neat- especailly on kebabs with veg chunks as well

I buy the big bags from IKEA because my lot love them, and I can honestly say we've never had them in tomato sauce (yuck)! The Swedish gravy is a creamy appley one, or we have them with cheese grated on the top, or on pizza. Nice with mayo too (very naughty lunch, pitta bread stuffed with meatballs, cheese, mayo and ketchup, yum )

Thanks everyone! For some reason gravy hadnt even crossed my mind!

So we will have penne, meatballs and gravy and veg! Yum! think well have gratec cheese in middle to add on to pasta and meat balls if they want to!

We have them with potatoes and veg and then a side of either lingonberry (like cranberry) or onion relish
