ive just found out..

no its a sauce/ paste that got a sweet and sour flavour, what you uses it curries (iandian/ Asian)

just wondered whether i can put it in pineapple?

nice marinade for chicken, its sweet, sort of ethnic tasting,

a tamarind is a fruit!

maybe, sweet and sour goes well with pineapple. Add some ginger too.
