Am due January, and I have been approached by research dept. at local hospital,(Singleton,Swansea), about taking part in a trial involving me and my newborn being given probiotic supplements to see the effect on cases of asthma/excema. They are trying to prove they can help so I would think it's a good thing, although you might need to adjust your ds's digestive system gradually. Different yoghurt things have different bugs in them which serve slightly different purposes. Sorry to be so vague but recently read an article saying which was better for constipation, general health etc. Am going to see researcher Wed morning, will post again if I get anything helpful from her.
