Delia's pesto rice salad

Has anyone made this? Is it any good? Would it be nice with some little lamb chops on the bbq?
Do you have to make your own pesto or can you be lazy and use shop bought?

it is very good but I have only made my own for this recipe, it doesn't take long to make your own if you have a food processor

Yes I have got a food processor, but have a glut of pesto (on offer in supermarket) so was hoping to use up.
