Powdered ginger? You can freeze it to keep it fresh for longer.

You can freeze it then just chop off what you need.
Jamie Oliver has a nice ginger beer recipe.
Do you like stir fries?

supadupapupascupa · 07/08/2011 21:00

A little in a stir fry is good. Or put some in some apples for a lovely pie filling. I would have thought you could freeze it....

How do you powder the ginger, bad kitten? Can you freeze it whole, do i need to blanche it at all.

I always fancied making crystallised ginger . It is supposed to be very good for nausea so would make a great gift for a pregnant friend.
