This is a healthy and delicious cake that my family devours every time I make

Ingredients:
1 cup plain flour
1 cup wholemeal flour
1 and 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
1/2 cup butter or margarine (soft)
1/2 cup sour milk (if you don't have just add 1tsp vinegar to normal milk and wait to curdle)
1 cup smashed bananas
2 eggs

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, and wet ingredients in another bowl. Combine both. Do not need to mix too much, just till it is combined. I usually put in two buttered and flour dusted loaf tins but you can use any shape of tin you have. Bake at 180C for approximately 40 mins. Check if it is cooked in the middle buy using a cocktail stick, if it comes clean its is cooked.

You will never throw a banana in the bin again, I promise!

Sour milk...so that's milk that has actually gone off??

Do you really use sour milk, surely that is full with bacteria which have caused it to go off? Why not use buttermilk?
