It really is infinitely adaptable (have made twice), and it's already metric-ised!

But PS - if you decide to add bourbon/whiskey, go cautiously - 1/4 cup is 60ml which is a lot of alcohol to add to something that isn't going to be flambeed. I added two glugs to the batter and that was plenty for us.
