To ask what cereal your toddlers eat

Sorry, I know I probably shouldn't post this on here, but I'm after some ideas on what cereal I could try my 18 month old with. I think she's getting bored of weetabix and porridge! But I'm worried about sugar/salt content....
Any suggestions Please?

Dorset Cereals muesli with natural yoghurt (although he is going through a phase of eating it dry Confused), Rude Health granola, ReadyBrek with fruit, toast with marmite Blush or sometimes even nutella BlushBlush, egg and soldiers (although he quite likes the shell Hmm

I'm a massive PITA when it comes to breakfast cereals and will only eat Dorset and Rude Health myself (because I'm a massive ponce Grin) and son that is what DS gets too.

Yabu.

I used to have a tablespoon of sugar on each Weetabix when I was a nipper Worral but I didn't want the dcs to get used to it so I have either cereal with fruit or toast now Sad

NewShooz · 24/07/2011 22:06

Worral/mightyquim I'm exactly the same, I also can't drink tea without sugar in it either!

Cheerios

R they really bad
Worried now as no one else as put those.

mousymouse · 24/07/2011 22:13

there are worse cereals than cherios.

mine like weetabix with raisins or chocolate hoops. all in moderation.

Littlepurpleprincess · 25/07/2011 08:37

porridge
weetabix
cheerios
cornflakes
bran flakes
rice krispies
museli
toast
fruit
youghurt

at the weekend DS will have pancakes or beans or cheese on toast. maybe crumpets.

I buy the asda value brands rather than kellogs etc. I also used to have sugar on mine but I've never put it on the DCs.

Oat-a-bix
Ready Brek, sometimes with a little drizzle of honey
Oat-a-flakes
Pancakes
Ricekrispies
Cornflakes-with warm milk only Hmm

DS is also a relation to maighdlin's DD toast monster, granary or seeded loaf being his particular favourites.
