Frozen haddock, been in the freezer since Feb, would you eat it?

Just got it out to defrost it and the label says 'if freezing use within one month'. Seems a ridiculously short timescale for something frozen. I would usually ignore but being fish I'm slightly worried.

Would you eat it?

Yeah would definitely eat it, presuming it's a -18 freezer and not a freezer drawer on a fridge (if that makes sense)

Yes it's a proper big freezer. Thanks, i haven't done much shopping this week with the aim of emtying freezer to defrost it so don't really want to start chucking stuff out. why would they say one month?

My freezer stops time. If it was fresh when it went in it will be fine.

Frozen food has a life-time shelve life, its the eating quality and texture that can deteroiate.
