Need a really good, moist banana cake recipe using brown sugar...

Have loads of bananas going off, and brown sugar in the cupboard.

Would like a cake recipe rather than a bready one IYSWIM- never made one before, so am clueless... Anyone got any tried and tested recipes?

Google Mrs Beetons Banana Bread recipe - although might be too bready for you. The first one I made was delicious, the second one not so - not sure what I did differently - maybe it was the shoes I was wearing

The Delia one is very good, but if you peel the bananas they'll freeze and you can do your cake whenever.

Jennie that's such a good idea! I have some bananas which are ripe too, and don't want to make banana cake tomorrow, so I'll just freeze it:)
