that's been in the freezer since February 2010?minute steak&frozen on day of purchase...

For maily eating including v late pregnancy me and a toddler.

I would, as far as I know the recommended freezing times are down to a quality issue rather than safety.

There was a freezer expert on Jeremy Vine last year and he stated that there is no life span with frozen items....Its life long. More of a quality, texture issue. As long as freeze burn is avoided you can keep for years and years.

We had a stunning bronze turkey for family do at easter, that had been in the freezer for two years and it was spectacular.
