I cant believe there is such an amazing abundunce of special spoons, bowls, cups to wean your baby with. Special rubber tipped spoons and cups, bowls with suction grips, special curves for getting the last morsel out - when most of the food is going to be tipped on you and the baby it seems amazing there is such a lot of choice! LOL!
Any advice on which brands are actually the best?
Cheers

Hi Loulabell, another vote for the Carol Timperley vegetarian book - I used it for weaning onwards for my ds, who's been veggie from birth. He's 5.5 now. I made a lentil hotpot tonight from it as I just discovered it on the cookbook shelf and ds wanted me to cook something he liked when he was a baby - there are smiley and unhappy faces next to each recipe to note whether your child liked it or not, so he was fascinated to know that he used to like some of these things. So I made the hotpot and was absolutely amazed when he ate it with gusto since he's been a plain pasta and baked beans fusspot for months and months. Anyway, I digress, but the book's still useful after all this time so well worth it.

Wickedwaterwitch, I'm always cooking meals from Carol Timperleys book for the whole family not just my dd. My dp loves the sausage and apple casserole in the toddler section. Tried that? YUM
