Pesto pasta bake recipe please

But I don't have any cream...

I don't know if a normal cheese sauce would work with this. What do you think? When I googled it a recipe that used chicken stock instead of milk came up. Does that sound ok?

That sounds great - I think I'd want a creamy pesto sauce, so you could start with a normal cheese sauce and just mix in pesto, or make a white sauce with milk, flour and butter and then add the pesto leaving out the cheese if you don't want it too cheesy. The chicken stock method would probably make a less creamy but equally nice bake and put enough moisture in there to keep the pasta soft.

Thanks :) I made a cheese sauce in the end.
I put the chicken and cooked pasta in the dish then stirred pesto through it all. Then poured the sauce over the top and added grated cheese. It was yummy!!

I'm going to make a broccoli and salmon one next . :)
