What do I do with Mung Beans?

Tidying cupboards and found a 3/4 full bag remeber trying to make ( not very well ) some sort of indian dahl like i had at a indian friends house - so any recipes anyone?, thaks

cotton wool on a window sill

do things sprout in the winter i thought they didnt?, any other ideas or recipes?

they'd been sitting in cupboard for years - about 2 that I've been meanign to make them and finally got around to it on the weekend - not quite a la trendy shop sellign them for £30 but ok ish

Yes, they sprout all year round, because your kitchen is nice and warm.
