My Mum makes it by slicing the potatoes then boiling them in the gravy (made with bisto or gravy powder)
then when then are ready adding the corned beef and finally addind a tin of baked beans - nort your normal corned beef hash but is good!

o chunk the tatties, add a tin of carrots inc juice and peas and lots of onion cos i like it then make up a weaker stock than gravy usually is and cover the lot - emptyin a couple of cans of corned beef which will melt into and crumble into the stew.

dont add salt corned beef has enough salt!

My mum always used to just mash the potatoes, add a chopped onion and a tin of corned beef - never heard of gravy being added before

Mashed potatoes layered in a casserole with the corned beef and a tin of baked beans. Butter on the top layer of potatoes and grill until crunchy and brown.

My Mum used to do it by chopping potatoes into cubes, boiling them til almsot soft then chuck them in the frying pan with corned beef, tin of baked beans and some chopped onion and just heat it through.
