I am about to embark on the famous Lemon Drizzle cake but I'm not sure what size of tin to use. Can anyone who's made it tell me please? I'm guessing quite big Grin. Thanks.

Do you mean the one by MarsLady? If so, then yes a large one, thin mine is about 30 cm and quite deep but the cake still filled it.

Made it on Saturday and it have been raving about it ever since. Can't believe it turned out so well and to say I'm inept in the kitchen is an understatement Grin

Thanks, I'm looking forward to eating it!

I use a standard loaftin, which i line with a paper liner( looks very nice when you lift it out and looks like a shop bought one)

Well you can make about 24 cupcake thingies with it.
One loaf tin and about half a dozen cupcake thingies.

I tend to use a large roasting tin. I'm not very good at measuring things. :D Ooh a friend of mine made it and put candied lemons on top. Now THAT is cakemaking Grin
