Flaxseed

Can anyone recommend any good recipes which i could use flaxseed in?

I usually mix them into bread dough (particularly soda bread). Pret a manger sprinkle them on top of their muffins.

It appears that you can use soaked flaxseeds as an egg substitute, but I have no personal experience of that - I tend to just bake the whole seeds as they are.

Lorna Sass's vegan cook book uses ground flax seed in all the cakes. I can't remember what it's called as I had it from the library.
