Cake Icing with writing techniques - courses -S Wales/west country area????

I've seen some icing classes but heck - £1000 ish. I'm not interested in making flowers or mouldings really icing control - perhaps basic stuff but learning to write (also with chocolate) would be a bonus. ANyone been on one or recommend a course as a day course.

I love the stuff that Squires Kitchen do but its a distance which means staying overnight and some of these are coming out £500.

No idea if these classes are any good, but their cakes look good and they were very helpful in the shop.

They are in Cirecester, so not sure how useful that is as a location.
