Lemon Herb sauce for fish

I get the Lemon part of the recipie, but what herbs do I add? Do I make a Roux or with Melted butter? Please help

A butter sauce is probably best with fish, it's more delicate than a flour based one. Google for a buerre blanc recipe. As for herbs, dill is always a good one with fish.

thanx carmenere, sadly i have looked all over portugal for the past 2 weeks and cant find any dill....... thats why i am a bit stuck

I have just baked DS some salmon tonight - 300g fish, topped with 25g butter mixed with 1tbsp lemon juice and 2tbsps herbs - I used basil and parsley. Absolutely lovely. He scoffed it and I would have eaten it for my own tea!

roast with noilly prat, butter and lemon wedge, herbs if you have them.
