LEMON SPONGE icing ideas

im making the sponge of a lemon drizzle
but fancy a different topping - any ideas

Cream cheese icing

I do a double lemon drizzle when I'm feeling wicked. So, holes all over whilst warm, lemon juice and icing sugar mixed together when warm and poured over. Once cold, slather over granulated sugar and lemon juice mix.

Or, you could do a lemon curd and mascarpone thing, with little parings of lemon zest over.

Or, a simple lemon glace icing with crystallised rose petals for mega tweeness.

Or cream and raspberries.

Cream cheese frosting with lemon curd swirled through.

Oooh, really fancy that now!
