recipe for chicken soup using leftover roast

Does anyone have one? Ive got one for new/uncooked chicken but am keen to use up the tasty leftovers in new post ds1 financially-conscious world.

I put the carcass in a huge pan add some water, bring to boil then simmer for half an hour. Then I remove all the bones and add potato, onion and veg, simmer for another half hour or so and thicken it just before the end. DD devours it.

I strip the chicken of meat, simmer the carcass for half an hour, strain. Add the chicken, potatoes and carrots and then bring to boil. Season, then simmer for a hour or until potatoes are cooked.

shove whole carcass in pan with carrot batons, onion cut into 4 pieces, bay leaf, chopped celery, salt and pepper .. almost cover with water bring to boil and simmer for 3 hours .. add a chicken stock cube in last 30 minutes

strain .. pick out the yummy veg and drink .. great with rice or vermicelli

get the can opener
reach in cupboard (for the tin with the chicken on the front)
Open tin
pour in pan
get the heat going
warm up
pour in bowl
