Ooh, thanks, katierocket -

"Very young children are often happy to put almost anything in their mouths, but by the age of two, many become reluctant to eat foods they have not tasted before."

DS2 was exactly like that, glad it wasn't all my fault!

This has made me feel heaps better

My DD2 (age 3 - almost 4) is an incredibly fussy eater - she was weaned at the same time with same sorts of food (both jarred and homemade) yet the other 2 are wonderful eaters and have always been so.

She relies a lot on smell and gags sometimes if she doesn't like the smell. She is very very reluctant to try anything new.

Having said all this, she is very healthy (rarely ill TOUCH WOOD!), she has masses of energy, sleeps well and is tall for her age, although slim.
