Lemon drizzle cake

I gather the Marslady Lemon Drizzle cake recipe is the gold standard of lemon drizzle cakes but I've just looked at the recipe and it doesn't say what size tin to use.

Can anyone help?

It's a standard loaf tin I think....

A massive. It makes loads, I've only done it as fairy cakes but I think it made 24 0r 29 or something...

A massive one.

The recipe says "tray" but it's a loaf tin then, is it?

A tray is better but a loaf tin would work.

What, like a brownie tin or deeper, like a roasting tin?

Yes like a roasting tin.

Maybe a good idea to make cupcakes with it the first time so you have an idea of the quantity.

I've always done it in a loaf tin and it always comes out perfectly

Ah bugger. I have an overwhelming desire to eat lemon drizzle cake now
