Lunch menu

Usually this sort of thing wouldn't phase me in the least but I'm really not enjoying food or cooking (I'm pregnant and bit pukey) at the moment.

So I wondered if anyone had any very easy suggestions for something nice for a small lunch party?

It will be me, DH, DSes who are toddlers but eat anything, and 2 visiting relations.

I was thinking maybe a savoury tart thing and some nice salads, and eton mess for pudding. What do you think? I want it to be nice as we haven't seen them for ages. Any other tips or suggestions?

Thanks :)

I know the feeling!

Roast veg tart. I use aubergine, courgette, baby tomatoes, shallots and yellow pepper, topped with fetta and served with dressed rocket. Cheat and use a roll of ready made puff pastry!

Or if cooking smells are really going for you buy a cooked chicken, throw some baked potatoes in the oven and a selection of salads. x

Savoury tart thing, salad and eton mess sound absolutely lovely- very summery and light. Do you have Jamie 30minute meals? there are some different ideas in there for salads.
