What's that thing Jamie does with the carrots in the Sainsbo's ad?

Bought some fresh thyme for the roast chicken we'rehaving for dinner and I've got some left. I have a vague recollection of him bishing and boshing and splashing with carrots (pukka!) on the telly - and I think thyme was involved somewhere.

Quick answer needed or they just get boiled, as per!

I think he just pours olive oil and puts thyme in and roasts them for 40 mins?
