Slow Cooking

I am attempting to make coq au vin in the slow cooker today (slimming world recipe) and the sauce looks nothing like it does in the book. I seem to make it too runny whenever I cook anything in the slow cooker.

Any ideas how I can thicken the sauce up? What am I doing wrong?

mix some cornflour (tablespoon ish) with cold water to a loose paste and add that and cook for 30mins

you are adding too much liquid. you could tip a bit of liquid out. If i'm doing bolognese, for example, in the slow-cooker, i just add the cube and none of the liquid in the recipe.
