Meal ideas with no kitchen?

Having kitchen redone next week, not really thought this through. Will have a microwave possibly.

Any ideas?

Can you get a couple of electric rings to plug in somewhere else safe? I think Argos do them. Then you can cook like a student:pasta and sauce, sti fry, boiled egg etc. An electric toaster might help too.

Failing that, pot noodle, smash or takeaway .

and

everything can be done with a microwave and a kettle

Will you have a freezer? Make some food that can easily be heated up in the microwave or on a camping stove, chilli, bolognaise, etc.

I lived in a flat with only a microwave, kettle and toaster.. you'd be surprised what you can do :)

Get a camping stove, at least you can then have a fry up/stir fry/rice/pasta etc
