Vanilla ice cream

I DH really likes the taste of Carte D'Or vanilla ice cream but I am not impressed by the ingredients list. We've tried Yeo Valley organic and Mackies as they're ingredients looked more natural but they didn't taste as nice. Has anyone found a nice tasting, creamy vanilla ice cream with reasonably natural ingredients?

Another vote for home made. It's very easy and you know there are no nasties, which bought ice cream is really bad for.

What are you avoiding? Hagen Daz is just cream iirc hence it being SO delicious!

Sadly we don't have an ice cream maker or anywhere to put one. Haagen Dazs sounds good - thanks!
