Am cooking for 6 on Saturday and would be grateful for any dinner party recipe suggestions - really open minded, can prep in advance, novice family cook, any help gratefully received!

Many thanks
Mandy

I do peri peri giant prawns as a starter, 3 p/p and serve with lime wedges and finger bowls, pair with a crisp white burgundy. You can make the marinade day before, and put the prawns in the sauce in the morning, then griddle as they take about 3 minutes!

I would then follow with...either pan fried sea bream fillets with chinese stir fry vegetables , stick with the white wine or

pork medalions in a cider/mustard sauce with roasted and crushed new potatoes and a big green salad. A light red works well, a fruity Pinot

pudding- Eton Mess.- can be pre made and stored in the fridge.

cheese board with crackers, figs, peach halves, grapes. can be pre-made also

Google for the recipes as you will find variations.

This menu is super easy and looks good I think.

Ooh, and that. It is a show stopper and so easy it's ridiculous.
