Can I give nuts to an 18m old?

Hes had them in ccokies and nutella but Im making a pasta tonight that has almonds in it (whizzed up)
Can i give it to ds2?

yea, I have even let my toddler daughter have a bite of a snickers bar (I am an awful mother) and she has survived.

Maybe just give him a little bit to begin with, but if he was ok with the cookies I would guess he isn't allergic.

if they are whizzed up then it should be fine. DS had smooth peanut butter from 9 months. Nuts and nut products are ok from 6 months if no allergies. Whole nuts should be avoided before age 5 due to the choking risk.
