How long would batter keep?

Thinking of making toad in the hole tonight for ds and ourselves. ds eats earlier than us but instead of making 2 lots of batter, would it be possible to make one batch and then keep the unused portion for ourselves for later?

It keeps for 24 hours in the fridge, so it would be fine kept until later today.
