Buttercream icing - how much butter/icing sugar?

Am about to ice my cake and have forgotton the recipe for butter icing - how much butter and icing sugar?

I think it's twice as much sugar as butter by weight, plus a tablespoon of milk. Get the butter really smooth first and then add the sifted sugar.
