I've got £9 worth of healthy start vouchers to spend on fruit and veg by Sunday and we're going away for the weekend so won't need it until Monday.

So, please could you suggest some veg to buy that I can then make something with and than freeze?

TIA Smile

Fresh soft fruit - banana, berries, mangoes*, blend them up with some thick natural yoghurt and freeze into ice lollies. Brilliant for summer, even more brilliant for teething.

*I have no idea if these things are common and/or affordable in England in summer, by the way, this is just what I did this summer in Australia when such things were in season and cheap.

you can buy frozen veg now with your vouchers but they can't be mixed with rice, just plain veg if that helps.

Butternut squash. Buy a whole one and it'll be fine for ages. Smile
