Sulphite free/low sulphite wine

I have become very sensitive to the sulphites in wine. I'm asthmatic and sometimes one glass can require 3 puffs of my inhaler to sort out my breathing.
Not all wines are as bad as others but I'm becoming increasingly reluctant to try new ones incase they are high sulphite.

I have found a site that sells low/sulphite free wine but I'm wondering if:
a; anyone else has the same problem.
b; anyone knows which mainstream brands are low sulphite or can recommend a reasonably priced low/sulphite free wine I can buy in the supermarket.

My asthma nurse mentioned it but thankfully I haven't noticed a problem so far.
Ironing is bad for asthma though Wink

I will have a rummage in the wine rack, & see what the labels say...

Thanks. They just all say "contains sulphites"
I wish they showed the amount eg high, low, etc. I have had ones that don't affect me. I just can't remember which.

This is quite interesting

Bummer for you though. Sorry!

Thanks for that. I suppose what would be really good would be a list: like the Which guides, which list the wines with low content. but I guess that's a long time in the future.
