Batch cooking ideas for ill friend

I've offered to make some freezer/microwave friendly meals for a friend who's ill.

I was thinking of lasagne, risotto and some soup as these can all easily be portioned and frozen - any other suggestions please?

I need things that are easy to cook too, with 21 month old twins under my feet I can't be spending hours in the kitchen.

I would assume your friend would want simple comforting things so your idea sound perfect. Just one thought is whether there are certain dietary restrictions relevant to her illness (eg. low sodium, no red meat, etc).

Any kind of pasta sauce like spag bol - you can freeze it flat in freezer bags so they stack like books in the freezer.
Curry
Soup is great
Moussaka
Beef stew
Fish/Shepherd's pie

Thanks, hadn't thought of curry or fish pie, and a stew with some dumplings would be great as it's really comforting.

I checked with him and there are no dietary restrictions so I bet a curry would go down well actually!
