Am trying to think of something to do with ds but only have usual cupboard stuff like treacle/syrup and dark chocolate.

Can i still make it like this?

All you need is either, cornflakes or ricecrispies, some chocolate (doesn't matter if it's not cooking chocolate), a little syrup and that's it!! The syrup helps the chocolate to stick to the cereal HTH

Will i need a whole bar ? obviously depends on the size, its a big one.

I usually use half..melt it in microwave or over a pan of water, stir in a good spoonful of syrup then add enough crisies to use up the choc

I've never used half a bar - the WHOLE bar is needed for all of us (four children plus me and hubby)!! I put smarties on the top too!!
