Creme Fraiche

Hi

I am looking to make a puff pastry veggie tart with feta cheese.

Had seen a recipe in Asda's mag for something similar but it used pesto as a base sauce.

Was wondering if creme fraiche mixed with the pesto would work to give it a more creamy sauce.

Any ideas?

I don't see why not - Flammekueche uses creme fraiche as a creamy base under the bacon and caramelised onions.

I like nice crispy puff pastry so would probably blind bake the base it a little bit first before I put the creme fraiche on it. The pesto taste won't be as strong if you mix it with creme fraiche but should still be nice.
