I am making my friends wedding cupcakes but i am making a tiny top tier to go on the top of the cupcake stand.
The bride and groom decorations she has bought are made from claydough and are incredibly top heavy.I am worried that they will wobble off the cake any ideas how i can fix them securely? The bride has a hollow dress and the groom has tiny feet.
Thanks .

Glue thin dowling to the groom's shoes?

Actually florist wire might be better

Wind florist wire round their ankles and stick it deep in the cake?

OOps hollow dress... Jam them in the icing then :)

Make a coil out of the wire to fit inside the dress, that combined with a bit of icing "glue" around the base should do it. (make a coil by wrapping around a pencil etc)

On second thoughts, stuff the dress with icing then just use the wire as a spike.
